Mechatronics engineering programme has been developed at 

APIIT SD INDIA for engineers with multi-disciplinary skills. 

B.Tech Mechatronics engineering programme is about the 

Moving parts that drive robots, electronics and machines. 

Consider what you use on a daily basis and how many moving 

Parts are involved. Those parts have all been created by 

Mechatronic engineers, and they ensure that our world keeps 

Moving. Mechatronics engineering programme is the science of 

Combining mechanical engineering with electronic 

Engineering.

In this four year mechatronics engineering programme you 

Will focus primarily on aspects of developing novel products 

Based on mechatronic principles. You will learn about 

Electronic and mechanical systems, process control and 

Instrumentation, and robotics and automated manufacturing.

Mechatronics engineering is the study of the interface 

Between mechanical engineering and electronics. It is a 

Broad area which embraces mechanical engineering, 

Manufacture, electronics and computer technology.

People working in this area need a range of skills to apply 

Solutions to problems which arise in a typical industrial 

Environment. The person who has gone through Mechatronics 

Engineering programme must be a flexible team-worker, able 

To trouble shoot, solve problems and keep in touch with 

Current developments.    

Engineering Admission at APIIT:

Duration: 4 Years

Eligibility: 

- Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as 

Compulsory subjects along with one of the 

Chemistry/Computer.

- Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate 

Belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken 

Together.

- Any other qualification considered as equivalent by 

University.

- Age at least 17 years on the 1st date of the month of 

Admission.

Test(s) Required: AIEEE / NAT Score
